- Ubuntu
- Been using Ubuntu since 4.10 dual booting with other distros.
- Yeah very comfortable with Ubuntu.
Recently bought a Chromebook:heart_eyes: using as my daily driver. Just use Ubuntu for gaming.

also have arcolinux and manjaro on another drive.but I need to upgrade manjaro to newer version as this one will crash on a restart
Currently running Manjaro - KDE. Been using it for about 6 months and I have no plans to switch any time soon.
I am currently running Arch, for about a week now. Before that, I was running Manjaro but I felt that I wanted to get updates faster and that having full Arch would be fun to install. Mainly because I had gotten lazy with the availability of the easy installers
I have used a bunch of distros since I originally started using Linux back in 1998 so maybe this one will stick for a while
EDIT: Also I am running GNOME, since I <3 GNOME and also I am a contributor to GNOME which I truly Love as a Desktop!
Switched over the Manjaro KDE near the beginning of the year and so far so good.
Fedora, since January. I was bouncing between manjaro and Arch prior to that.
Switched to run something more similar to what we run at work.
I think my user Name gives the game away somewhat but I have been running Linux Mint Mate as my daily driver for about 8 years now, and despite my recent dive into the world of Distrohopping Mint is still my go to distribution for its stability and ability to do all I need it to do out of the box. I is also very new user friendly and I will often use it for installing as a gateway to Linux for new users.
I’m currently running Debian Buster on my main machine and EndeavourOS on another one to get familiar with Arch. I also have another machine running Debian unstable since a few months without any troubles.
AS Xfce fan all have Xfce as main DE.
I like the experience with EndeavourOS so far and therefore could imagine to stick with it or move to another Arch based distro like Arco linux in the future. I will let me inspire by what I will read and see from the DLN community.
Distro? One distro? OK, MXLinux, BUT, also mentions, Debian 11 (Bullseye or Testing), SparkyLinux 6 (semi-rolling - Debian Bullseye based), ArcoLinux and EndeavourOS.
I’ve been using MX as my main distro since 2017, prior to that Ubuntu.
I can’t see myself switching from MX as my main daily driver any time soon
There are other distros that I’ve tried and liked and could happily use (Manjaro, LinuxMint Xfce, Peppermint, and even Xubuntu - but I’m over Ubuntu and derivatives since the 17.10 incident with the BIOS problem).
The thing is, these days it’s so much easier to find a workable distro than even 5 years ago, never mind since 2003 when the last Microsoft was expunged from my personal computers. They all of course have little things that could be better (every individual user has their own list) but these days they are so minor it seems churlish to complain too loudly. Nothing is perfect.
Manjaro Linux
For close to a year and half now
Oh, Yes. After the most recent Windows 10 fisasco… yes i’m sticking to this!!!
Writing this from Kubuntu, but mainly using Arch nowadays, and experimenting with different DEs.
Pretty consistently using arch for the last couple of months.
Yep, I’ll stay on it, but I am an avid distro / DE - hopper!
Note: I am very tempted by the the updated Manjaro Cinnamon…always loved Cinnamon.
Linux Mint Mate on my main production machine since LM 18.
For testing and having fun: Arch Linux with XFCE on one SSD and Debian 10 (Mate) on another.
(Various Distributions in VM)
Mint 19.2 Mate is the boot distro on an Intel NUC, followed by Solus Budgie, Solus Mate, Mx18.3, and EndeavorOS.
I´m currently on vanilla Arch (with XFCE).
(Other than a short sidestep to Solus I´ ve been a Xubuntu user for about 12 years, or so.)
I´ ve been running it for about 6 months.
I really like it so far, so I plan on sticking to it. Not a distrophoper so when I find something that suits me I usually stick to it.
Manjaro 18.1 stable - KDE Plasma for me. Since the last couple of years now. It just keeps getting better and better So, yes, I plan to stick to it on my desktop (main PC) but like to try out other distros on my older laptop from time to time, because it’s great to see new stuff and new ways of doing things that other distros have implemented.
Ubuntu Mate for the win…
What distro are you running?
Void Linux. I wanted to try something which didn’t use systemd. It also ships with LibreSSL, which was a plus. It’s rolling release and I haven’t had any extraordinary troubles with it.
I use CentOS on my servers (earlier it was Debian).
How long have you been using it?
About one and a half year.
Do you plan to stick with it?
Yep.
I came from Debian. Before Debian I used Arch. But I’ve always used WMs on my desktop (except a quick journey into Enlightenment), so I guess it’s mostly about package management for me. The biggest reason I switched from Debian though was that I wanted a rolling release again. I don’t remember why I switched from Arch, I think I just enjoyed Debian a lot on the servers and wanted to try something else. But I like void, it’s cosy.
ArcoBLinux-XFCE with Zen Kernel on main pc
ArcoBLinux-KDE Hardend Kernel on laptop
