I think I’ve figured out why my emails were getting flagged as spam:

Non Gmail Email

I finally figured out a subtle wart in my email setup: Google snootily expects the DNS reverse lookups on my domain’s email server’s IP address to resolve to the exact same FQDN hostname as is stated during the HELO handshake my server makes with gmail.

Of course Gmail gets to insidiously raise the bar another few notches tomorrow if they like, being elusive snobs again, in receiving messages from my artisinal email server.
