Ok - so here is the situation…
I was originally asking for some hardware suggestions See Here… but then learned that the family doesn’t have a computer at all… so I decided to change the hardware search and give them a Minis Forum PC (and I will add a wacom tablet for my niece on her birthday)…
But now I’m wondering what Distro to choose… If it was me, there wouldn’t be a question, but the family has slightly different needs than me…
What I’m guestimating the needs are…
Parents - just mainly web browsing…
Niece (17yo) - KRITA and Minecraft game
Daughter (6yo) - Lots of educational things…
I was originally thinking EndlessOS for the education parts - but then I realized that I’m not sure if it would work well with the Wacom that will be added, and I would think that I might want something KDE focused since Krita will definitely be in use.
I would also like a program that can limit time on the computer for the 6 and 17 yo that the parents can set…
I will be the tech support, so I’ll be the one doing the updates…
Looking for any advice that I can get!
