What are some myths about Linux?

What are some myths about Linux that you think need to be publicly debunked? (Note: positive or negative myths)

Things I’ve heard:

  • Linux is more secured
  • CLI usage is a requirement
  • Linux isn’t for gamers
  • Linux doesn’t support old scanners and printers
  • Nvidia hardware isn’t supported
  • Linux is made for servers
  • Linux is not for buisness workstations
  • Linux is hard to install
  • Programs run twice faster in linux

Considering most of the distros open source

Personally I don’t consider remixes, respins, remasters created with tools that in practice backup an installed system into an ISO and other that don’t have any public build-ISO system public open source
