What are some myths about Linux that you think need to be publicly debunked? (Note: positive or negative myths)
Things I’ve heard:
- Linux is more secured
- CLI usage is a requirement
- Linux isn’t for gamers
- Linux doesn’t support old scanners and printers
- Nvidia hardware isn’t supported
- Linux is made for servers
- Linux is not for buisness workstations
- Linux is hard to install
- Programs run twice faster in linux
Considering most of the distros open source
Personally I don’t consider remixes, respins, remasters created with tools that in practice backup an installed system into an ISO and other that don’t have any public build-ISO system public open source
