I did some googling on this and strangely could find almost no info on where to buy PMR drives. Are they still being made? Or only SMR drives being made now?
To my knowledge drives that are known as CMR are the same as PMR drives, It’s not always mentioned whether a drive is CMR/PMR or SMR but most hard drive manufacturers list whether their drives are CMR or SMR so if you just google the model number you should be able to find out.
