Just learned about this home server linux OS a couple of days ago. It’s currently in beta, but I have to say it’s interesting. I’m seriously considering getting a cheap NEC or small footprint desktop and install Pure OS on it for a home server. They do sell two NEC’s with their OS pre-installed. The top model uses Coreboot.
