I’m using MBR Legacy.
Also where is the best place to get quickest support for problems like this for kubuntu.

Hi i need some help with installing Kubuntu 20.10 Groovy. I have tried to install it 5 times with the same output grub-install /dev//sda failed every time i have switched USB sticks but that is not the cause. grub-install: error: failed to get canonical path of /cow'.
I always use whole drive and put the / for root. And then install and usually the installer takes care of the grub install. now having issues. I never had issues like this before.

Hey @TJ-Wolf in the partitioner of Kubuntu, did you check that your / is located on /dev/sda ?

Did you manually create the partitions or did you use the automatic setup ?
