Just installed Kubuntu on my new ThinkPad X1 Yoga. Everything's working except for 1 thing: being a 2-in-1

Keyboard & trackpad pauses after I flip to tablet mode, as it should be, but keyboard & trackpad doesn’t work again after I flip it back to laptop mode. But when it goes to sleep, keyboard starts working again, but doesn’t pause when I flip to tablet mode.

Any idea how I can fix this?

Hello,

While I was searching for my next machine I was looking for info about linux on the Yoga and I stumbled upon this :

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-X-Series-Laptops/X1-Yoga-Type-20FQ-and-20FR-Touchscreen-Firmware/td-p/3345624

Maybe this helps ?

I installed this tool that detects if the laptop is on tablet mode, and when I ran watch_tablet, I got this error:

Failed to open /dev/input/event5 (Permission denied)
Failed to initialize device /dev/input/by-path/platform-thinkpad_acpi-event

Any idea what I’m missing?
