I need a voicemail for my cell phone since I get a lot of calls for my work and side gig as a journalist/documentarien. I replaced my text messages and calls with Foss solutions but I can’t find a voice mail. Do y’all have any suggestions?

Simple Dialer I just didn’t want to use the google dialer

Okay, so you are using Simple dialer with your phone service provider. In that case you simple call your voicemail as you normally would to listen to your messages.
Android incorporates voicemail directly into the dialer for sometime. And this functionality is open source: Android Open Source Project. So, you access your voicemail through simple dialer.
