Hardware Compatability Database

I just wanted to let everybody know that I found a site to check for Linux device compatibility with Linux-Hardware. This is where the user can test hardware and post the results to the database. Great detail is listed for each device including, kernel requirement, desktop used, disto, logs, etc. Devices are listed as working or failed. If Linux isn’t compatible, a note indicates why the hardware won’t work. If you want to test your hardware, Hardware Probe is available as a flatpak. This is a fantastic tool to help Linux become a viable option, especially for those who build computers.

Thanks for the article. If Linux is to be successful on the desktop, enthusiast must have a way of ensuring that their hardware is compatible and what to expect.
