I absorb a lot of interviews/war history through Jocko Podcast and Dan Carlin, can’t get enough. It’s a completely different perspective i’d never been given till I listened to those guys.
That was my first tour (1989-1994). During my second tour, I worked in a completely different position (IT), as the US Navy had created a new IT rate (rate == new job description).
