I think this is new, but the app came up on F-Droid for me and so I researched it some. It’s not another payment form like Bitcoin, so maybe it’s like a privacy-centric bank, but for smaller transactions? This is the link. It seems like a no-knowledge way to transfer funds, but still have accounting on the vendor side. I have no mobile banking apps (or interest in them) and have never gotten involved with Bitcoin, but this seems like an interesting project. Maybe it’s more like an alternative to Square.
