I am looking to purchase a USB external optical drive for the backups of my DVD and Bluray discs. Any recommendations for known-to-work under Linux devices?
Most should work. Might need to install udftools
I had udftools installed with no luck. Turns out the drive I had had some issues.
I did end up purchasing a Pioneer BDR-XD07UHD to replace it. Works flawlessly and I recommend it to anyone looking for an optical drive.
