Well after listening to episode 333 of Destination Linux it reminded me of this article ChromeOS is splitting the browser from the OS, getting more Linux-y.Pretty much what Google is doing is decoupling Chrome web browser with the OS. This will help update the web browser faster from the OS as that will be updated independently.
So yes, I would also include ChromeOS in the Linux category.
