Can't copy or clone some of my QCOW2 images from old SSD to new SSD

SOLVED

I used ddrescue to copy the files over. It worked!!

I was able to copy my Arch & Windows QCOW2 images from my old 2TB SSD to new 4TB SSD. However, I’m having trouble copying my Lubuntu and Neon QCOW2 images. I’m always getting an “input/output error”. Even cloning doesn’t work.

The fact that I was able to copy my Arch and Windows QCOW2 files leads me to think it’s the images that were having problems, I did consider it was a disk issue, but I ran fsck, and they were fine… I also tried to copy the images to somewhere else in the the same 2TB SSD, but that didn’t work.

Any idea what’s up? The images are still usable when I boot it up.

Edit:
I ran journalctl, and found this:

I’ve had great luck with this thing!

Do you have backups of the disk?
Have you tried using any tools from your disk manufacturer to check the disks for errors?
Have you tried internet searching your error as keywords?

Worth asking… what are you using to physically connect the disks to your machine?

And it’s connected by SATA. Still perfectly fine, I think.
