First time poster, long time listener - I’ve noticed Mr Noah Chelliah’s audio on the show often sounds “hollow” or clipped. Does Noah use a markedly different mic set up to the other Greatest Minds of Linux?

Yes he does. He uses a headset and it seems to be one optimized for noisy environments.
I believe Ryan and Michael use dynamic studio mics and Zeb uses a condenser mic, so the sound characteristics are a bit different between all of them.
This week Noah was quite clippy. He gets excited and loud sometimes, so it is not super surprising with a mic that close to his gob
