I now have a Dell R730 at my home. I’m still waiting for a hard drive and a few things to show up to help complete the package.
Anybody else have one running at home? What are your tips, pointers, or suggestions? Anybody installed a GPU? Anybody running Ubuntu Server?
I have the server up and running with Ubuntu Server and a couple of Nvidia GPUs installed. Impressive rig – CPUs with a total of 56 cores – Dual GPUs – 128 Gigs of RAM. It does sound very similar to a 747 taxiing out to the runway.
