Thank you for putting out this episode. Printers are typically about as exciting as watching paint dry (which, in a way, is exactly what they are supposed to do, right?) but after listening completely through this, I walked away having learned so much! I honestly never understood what ‘foomatic’ drivers were, and ‘cups’ was always a mysterious set of internal web pages that somehow made my printer just start working…
Thank you so much to Till and Michael for sharing their time and talent! Linux would still be in the dark ages if it were not for people like you. God bless you both!
