On the telemetry discussion again, one of the many good thing about free and open source software is that when developers make changes that are not in the interest of their users, dedicated users can fork the software and modify it in their interest. Those copies don’t have to be completely separate, they still can pull useful updates from the original project. Librewolf is an example. Telemetry may be a “slippery slope”, but I’m very confident that the Fedora will find an good way to handle that - and even if not, there’ll always be distributions like Debian and Arch.
