It’s a critical problem with their scientific method if they’ve done 27 renames to DNA over a year so they can achieve compatibility with a constantly evolving office program not designed for scientific use that’s in their words “dangerous” to use.

Excel doesn’t offer the option to turn off this auto-formatting
Perfect example of how Microsoft is viewing user interfaces and why Office is driving crazy people using it. On one hand it’s supposed to make things easier but in reality the program decides on its own to do do some stuff and you can’t switch it off

I am surprised they are not using open source alternative such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice. Even to the point where they can force it to use the formatting they want.
