I love my keyboard and mouse too much for a Steam Deck to make sense but if I was in to console controllers i’d probably be over the moon with this.

Great to see Valve just being cool and promoting Linux. Would love see a Valve Linux gaming laptop after this.

I figure if you’re using a keyboard and mouse then you’re at a desk and propping up the Steam Deck like a monitor. At that point… a laptop will have have it beat on screen size alone. It’s really winner for the handheld space.

I really don’t game enough for me to buy one. I may change my mind at some point, but as for now it isn’t on my wish list.

My oldest loves to use a controller to game. Both on the computer and console. This is something she might enjoy, and people like her would.

You can if you get the separate dock. I am curious as to how the docked experience is going to be.
