Just a warning about the default settings in Telgram. It displays your phone number to anyone seeing your contact details.
How many people send personal contact details with everyone they email. And I know Facebook gets a bad rap in comparison with Telegram but not even they share your phone number on public.

So if your using Telegram make sure to change settings so your phone number only shows up for friends or not at all.
