I need to ship an older ho dl380 g5 server to a friend, but haven’t shipped a server through the mail before. I’m going to remove and wrap the SAS drives individually, but is there anything else I should remember to do?
He’s learning system administration, and this server isn’t doing anything for me. Least I can do is pass it on to the help train the next generation.
So, any advice on making sure this safely arrives?
