Personal Git hub to store dot files

I found this reference and it seems pretty straight forward but I was wondering how others approached this.

I have a public repository on gitlab hosting my dotfiles, and many other people do the same. Making it public is nice since you can share it with other people, my girlfriend and many friends of mine use them.

That’s the dream right there, a girlfriend who uses dotfiles.

+1 for gitlab rather than github.

I also use Github to store my dot files although I would like to migrate to Gitlab.
