My wife still did not answer my call by email to join and it was more than a month ago.

I’m not even going to consider that… My wife is very happy with fb messenger… There’s this strange “will” to not learn new things. Privacy is something that happens to other people… This can be very, very frustrating at times for me.

Yep. I am struggling. I managed to get her to use Wire, which I like the UI of, and encryption and verified etc… but is a silo… and the big issue is notifications don’t often work!
I have been using matrix for quite a while and am happy with the notifications being consistant, so want her to change to it, but she doesn’t want to.
