I’m not asked to log in either, for now (and I’m not logged in with a Google account in the browser). Perhaps after reading a few more articles, then Medium.com will “spring the trap” on me and require the login above.
After reading a few of these articles like 2 hours ago on my phone (no login required, or requested), I visited again just now, on my laptop. Trap sprung!!
Yeah, I am not sure why a not to known website could even consider doing something like this.
