So I got told / asked by a non programmer,
“If something is coded in C ++, doesn’t that make it old?”
I responded that programming in C would be old, but C ++ is still being used quite a bit.
But having said that, am wondering if my idea of old vs current might be out of step with the general discussion.
I know there are newer languages available now, my university education was done during the final days of Pascal.
Also many millennials probably call C / C ++ / Object C, all ancient…
Maybe I should change my position.
